A small percentage of the population has been chosen by the gods. Only the chosen are allowed to communicate with the gods.
When the chosen want to communicate with the gods, they create a ley line to the gods.
Dr. William Happer points out the greening effect of CO2. Transpiration is the exhalation
of water vapor by plant stems and leaves. Additional water vapor, because of more and larger plants means more flooding. It also means more snow in the winter. More snow equals more earth cooling which equals more snow. Sounds like a cooling death cycle. Now the CO2 climate change fanatics have an off ramp. They should take it. CO2 effecting the climate, but turning cooler not hotter during the Grand Solar Minimum if that is indeed our future.

Mor Co2 means, plants can make photosynthesis more efficently and close the stomata earlier, what means they exhale less water vapor. because of that they can grow in drier climats: greening of the subsahara!
Now we need someone to provide a statistically appropriate journal article that addresses these two suppositions. Personally, I tend to lean towards the “larger” plants possibility.
“Net Zero is a fantasy built in Western boardrooms, blind to the needs of Montevideo or Mendoza.”
I would substitute “developed-world” or “Global North” or “industrialized” for “Western”, as Argentina and Uruguay are Western at least in a cultural sense. (These two countries could have remained rich and developed to this day – as they were some 100 years ago – if some historical circumstance had been different.)
Dear Deb. The world you were born into hasn’t changed very much. It is the people who inhabit it that have changed. By that I mean the Western world’s elites or power structure leaders. They are the product of our education system, which no longer promotes the rewards of honest and relevant work. Hopefully DEI is DIEing now. Who you know trumps (bad pun there) what you know. Regarding transpiration, one should also note that a plant’s respiration is different from humans’ breathing. Plants transpire, and we sweat. Remember that plants shift from taking in oxygen during the night to taking in CO2 during the day. That is why plants are not advised in a person’s sick room. The world is not only getting colder, but it is involved in an accelerating process of getting a shit load colder in the next 5 years. Where does anyone think they will get their avocados for their toast. I’ll try to provide supporting stuff on Monday. Billy Best
Has anyone noticed how it has become a “thing” for young people to talk really fast? I can hardly stand to listen to their ads, they burn out my brain. And if I have to listen to one more ad about Stuck Poop…!!! 😝😝😝
“But the damage has been done.
“The study was widely circulated, even cited by the halls of power. It did its job — it may have been built on lies, but it checked the right political boxes. The science didn’t matter. The outcome did. Most people never see the walk-backs.”
This is the same, whether climate propaganda or political lies….they rocket around the internet and the legacy media. The retractions or clarifications rarely are seen.
I think it’s just my phone acting up. I can’t paste a link in a text message either. That happened once before. I have a very screwy phone. Probably loaded with spyware.
“A 2024 climate change study amplified by the corporate press projecting up to $38 trillion in global climate damages by 2050 relied on inaccurate data, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.
“The study’s inclusion of Uzbekistan’s faulty GDP figures skewed its results and cast doubt on its conclusion that global GDP could be roughly 62% lower by 2100 due to climate change than it otherwise would be, according to the Post. Numerous prominent media outlets touted the study upon its release as proof of climate change’s imminent economic threat, but a new analysis and experts who spoke to the Post argue the paper is undermined by Uzbekistan’s “data anomalies.” ”
All the countries in the UN have fake data to get printed money what’s new? What countries are not in the UN and don’t have fake data? Ya it’s all a scam, what’s new? The whole global financial system is a scam, what’s new?
Putin/Trump meeting in Alaska this week to end WW3? That’s new. What town in Alaska? What about Zelinski and NATO? Are they going to stop bombing Russia?
This week, the EPA Administrator said he will rescind their 2009 Endangerment Finding that has underpinned the EPA’s regulation of carbon dioxide (CO₂) and other greenhouse gases. If upheld by the courts the decision will eliminate the EPA’s regulations on greenhouse gases with implications for global climate change.
I have been unable to post a link to this article.
The USSC has already overturned most of the prior Chevron ruling, robbing the US gov’t agencies’ ability to make law via regulations, so the rescinding of the Endangerment Finding should not be an issue, tho some lower court judge will probably get involved.
An out of the box religious idea.

The unchosen do not know this:

I miss the world I was born into and the sensible people who lived in it. All gone now, as if it had never been.
Deb, the internet & modern media are great – but also they bombard us with too much, too fast. Especially children.
I fear the crazy things get far more exposure than sensible, measured knowledge.

But otherwise, very well said!

I meant to say, we perspire. BB
Billy –
In the world I was born into, milkmen still delivered milk to the door in horse-drawn wagons. Believe me, it has changed.
Our milkman used a step van but, yeah, much has changed. The dirt road I grew up on has been paved many years now.
Has anyone noticed how it has become a “thing” for young people to talk really fast? I can hardly stand to listen to their ads, they burn out my brain. And if I have to listen to one more ad about Stuck Poop…!!! 😝😝😝
Either that…or the ones with their face glued to a phone screen don’t talk at all.

Agreed. The evil ones know what they are doing.
Snow in South Brazil today.
It’s the 5th snowy day of the year in the region.

That’s a great move by the EPA head.
